Every build is code-signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper verifies it before first launch. Prefer to trust nothing? Copywarden is local-first and its usage data is opt-in — with sync, usage data and crash reports off, watch the network and verify that no clipboard data leaves your Mac; the threat model and disclosure policy are published for scrutiny.

Grant Accessibility for auto-paste
Auto-paste uses a permission you grant once in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Until then, Copywarden copies the item so you can press ⌘V yourself — everything stays on your Mac.
Set your hotkeys
⌘⇧V opens the history popup; ⌥⌘1–9 paste your pinned and most recent items directly. Live search and rich previews are built in.
