Terms of Sale

What you're buying, in plain language.

These terms cover paid Copywarden plans. The encrypted clipboard core is free and stays free — security is never paywalled. See pricing for what each plan includes and the refund policy for how to get your money back.

The plans

Copywarden Pro is $3.99/month or $29.99/year. The Founding license is $99 once — every current and future Pro feature, for the life of the product. It's a launch-window offer with no fake countdown: if it's listed on the pricing page, it's available. Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout where supported; taxes are added or included as your country requires.

Your account is your license

There are no license keys or license files. Pro unlocks on any Mac where you sign in with your Copywarden account, on both the direct download and the App Store build. Keep your account credentials safe — they are the only thing that ties your purchase to you.

Who you're buying from

Checkout, payment, invoicing, and sales tax are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle is the seller on your receipt and their buyer terms apply to the transaction itself. What the software does, and every promise on this site, remains ours.

Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from the app's billing page (or through Paddle) — you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you are not charged again. If a purchase is revoked immediately (for example through a refund), access ends at that moment. The Founding license is a one-time payment and never renews.

What "life of the product" means

The Founding license covers every Pro feature we ship, for as long as Copywarden is developed and sold. We define it honestly: if development ever ends, everything already shipped keeps working on your machine — your clipboard history is local and encrypted, and no server shutdown can take the core away from you. What the license does not promise is features that were never built.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters — pricing, renewal behavior, what a plan includes — we will say so plainly on this page and, for changes that affect an active subscription, by email before your next renewal. We don't change the deal retroactively.
